Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Equipment in Massachusetts

Rebates, incentives and instant discounts are available for new electric equipment or to make existing gas equipment more efficient.

In alignment with Massachusetts’ climate policy and goals, we are discontinuing rebates and financing for equipment powered by natural gas, oil and propane. Eligible natural gas, oil and propane heating and water heating equipment must have been purchased, installed and have had all documentation submitted by September 30, 2024 to receive a rebate.

Upgrade and Save

Solutions are available for businesses large and small looking to upgrade existing equipment, replace end-of-life equipment, or as part of a building renovation or new construction project.

These include:

  • Electric HVAC (instant discounts are available with no rebate form needed upon purchase at participating distributors)
  • Chillers
  • Controls for existing gas-fired furnaces and boilers
  • Custom program incentives
