  • It's versatile. In addition to heating your home and water, it also fuels fireplaces, grills, outdoor lighting, pools and appliances.
  • It's efficient. You can identify and compare an appliance's efficiency by its annualized fuel utilization efficiency and features.
  • If you're already using natural gas in your home and you switch to a natural gas heating system, you can contact us to get the lower gas heating rate.

Get Natural Gas in Your Home

Check if natural gas is available in your area

This form is for installing a new gas service to your property or adding new gas equipment, such as a generator. If the property already has gas and you need to start or stop service, or need help with your gas billing account, gas meter, or have any other questions, please contact us.

Then what will happen? Here are some steps for natural gas service line and meter installation:

  • You will sign a gas service installation agreement and pay any required cost. There may be a cost to install the gas service line. The cost will be provided by the energy advisor and will be included in the service agreement. If there is not a cost for the service installation, the customer will pay a refundable $1,000 deposit. The deposit will be refunded when the meter is set.
  • A representative will mark your road and select your meter location
  • A representative will apply for state and local permits 
  • Once approved, a crew will install your service line
  • You will schedule a meter installation
  • We can help you find a contractor who will help you verify and choose the natural gas equipment that is adequate for your household and your needs
