These awards recognize outstanding Eversource business partners and projects across our entire Commercial and Industrial portfolio, including Energy Efficiency and EV Charging Infrastructure projects.
The submission period for the 2024 Energy Excellence Awards has closed. Thank you to the many partners across our service territory for your submissions. We're proud to recognize the 2024 winners.

2024 Eversource Excellence Award winners include the following:
Equity Award: Recognizes projects that benefited underserved communities or otherwise represented efforts to provide more equitable access to Eversource programs.

Award categories and submissions
- Decarbonization Award - This award recognizes projects and initiatives focused on helping customers decrease their use of equipment powered by fossil fuels through the installation of heat pumps or other decarbonization measures.
- Design Of The Year Award - Recognizing C&I new construction projects that were completed in 2023.
- Energy Efficiency Retrofit Project Awards - Recognizing innovative ways to deliver key energy efficiency outcomes for your customers, with varying needs based on size:
- Large C&I Award - Energy efficiency retrofit projects for large C&I customers who use more than 7.6 Million kWh or 100,000 therms a year.
- Mid-size C&I Award - Energy efficiency retrofit projects for mid-size business / Business Energy Advantage (BEA) customers who use between 1.4 Million – 7.6 Million kWh or 40,001 – 99,999 therms per year.
- Small C&I Award - Energy efficiency retrofit projects for small business / Small Business Energy Advantage (SBEA) customers who use less than 1.4 Million kWh or 40,000 therms per year.
- Equity Award - This award recognizes projects that benefitted underserved communities (i.e. projects in Environmental Justice Communities or Distressed Communities), or otherwise represented efforts to provide more equitable access to Energy Efficiency, Demand Management or EV Charging Infrastructure solutions.
- EV Charging Infrastructure Award - This award recognizes outstanding Eversource EV charging infrastructure projects completed and energized in 2023.
- Focused Scope Award - A new award for 2024, this category recognizes business partners who support customers in implementing trade-specific projects, such as weatherization or building controls that maximize energy savings for customers.
- Municipal Project Award - A new award for 2024, this category recognizes business partners who are delivering innovative and thoughtful projects specifically for the leaders helping our cities and towns benefit from energy efficiency and improve sustainability at the local level.
- Supply Chain Partner Award - This category recognizes innovative supply chain partners, participating dealers and distributors, whose projects used energy-efficient solutions to drive and maximize savings for end use customers. We will be recognizing supply chain partners who participate in Eversource’s C&I downstream, midstream, and/or upstream programs.
