Massachusetts Renewable Credits Portal

Make unlimited changes to net metering allocations and view solar incentive payment information.

Real-Time Changes and Feedback

Customers and solar developers who earn on-bill credits through the net metering or Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program can use the Renewable Credits Portal to:

  • Upload Schedule Z and Alternative On-Bill Credit (AOBC) forms.
  • Make unlimited, real-time changes to the allocation of net metering credits.
  • Receive real-time form and data validation.
  • View a history of your solar incentive payments and information.

You will use your existing Eversource login and password to access the portal. If you do not have an Eversource login you can create one on the login page. Your generation project needs to be operational to use the portal.

Schedule Z forms that contain National Grid and/or Unitil account numbers in Massachusetts must be submitted via email to:

Only Schedule Z forms containing account numbers outside of Eversource are accepted through email.

SMART Program:

Net Metering:

  • Questions about billing, compensation for exported energy or credit allocation can by answered by phone at 1-800-592-2000.

Program Enrollment 

The Renewable Credits Portal is for customers who are already enrolled in Massachusetts Net Metering program, or the SMART program.
